          Environmental Prevention and Control

            7.1.1. Greenhouse gas emissions 16

At TWG, we believe that one of the most urgent areas of action in relation to
our environmental performance is the fight against climate change, as it is the
main threat to society and to our market. In this regard, we have calculated our
carbon footprint based on the international GHG Protocol methodology, which
is the most widely used internationally in the calculation and communication
of emissions inventories. In this sense, we have obtained the amount of direct
emissions (scope 1) and indirect emissions derived from electricity consumption
(scope 2), both of which are mandatory for the calculation of the carbon footprint
          according to the aforementioned standard.
The emissions generated by TWG are included in the figures at the end of this
          section.

          7.2.
          Noise and light pollution

We performed the required controls on these issues in accordance with the
regulations in force and when we found values below the maximum permitted
values; we have not provided additional actions but preventive maintenance of
the emitting sources. Moreover, this is not a material issue due to the nature of
          our business.

16 The emission factors used for the calculation of direct emissions are those provided by the “Registry of Carbon Foo-
tprint, Offsetting and Carbon Dioxide Absorption Projects” of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic
          Challenge.
16 The electricity mix of the commercialisation company has been used to calculate indirect emissions derived from
          electricity consumption.
                                                                                                                                                               55
