6 Commitments to human rights
At TWG we aim to contribute to society by playing an active role as a generator
of employment, quality services and contributing to the local communities in
which we operate by promoting employability and diversity.
We are firmly committed to defending human rights, and have therefore
equipped ourselves with a set of tools that guarantee and promote the protection
and respect of people in order to prevent, mitigate and redress any possible
impact on human rights.
Our operations are carried out in different social, political and cultural contexts,
so our strategy reflects respect for human and labour rights as set out in relevant
legislation. We assess and monitor our social impact through appropriate risk
management.
This risk management is an integral element of the Company’s decision-making
processes, both in our governance structure and in business management.
Section 4) of this NFIS explains how these Human Rights Risks are addressed and
how they can be traced back to the UN Global Compact Guiding Principles.
