Sustainability is Strategic Evolution
This evolution has been the starting point for setting new goals for 2024. It has allowed us to focus on a new strategy: GROW WITH PURPOSE. This strategy involves expanding and developing by aligning our core values with our mission and doing so in a way that has a positive impact on society, employees, and the environment. This positive impact is our purpose.
Here are some key aspects we consider to affirm that we do so with purpose:
TWG sustainability
Sustainability
Implement practices that minimise environmental impact and promote long-term sustainability.
Promote sustainable innovation by developing more sustainable services.
Social responsibility
To contribute to the well-being of the community by creating quality employment and supporting social causes through innovative initiatives.
Business ethics
Maintaining high ethical standards in all operations and decisions and communicating these in a reliable manner to our stakeholders.
Innovation
To develop products and services that are not only profitable, but also improve people's lives.
Organisational culture
Foster a positive work environment and support the personal and professional development of employees through training, welfare and recognition programmes.
Chairman TWG
Carlos Llonis
“The progress achieved in 2024 reaffirms our conviction that sustainability is a strategic driver for TWG.
Our commitment to excellence has allowed us to expand, optimise processes, strengthen our structure and consolidate a sustainable and responsible growth model.
Our focus on excellence allows us to continue to grow with purpose, ensuring a positive impact on society and a service offering that combines efficiency, transparency and agility”.
Vice President TWG
Virginia Michelena
“We firmly believe that growing with purpose is much more than achieving goals: it is transforming every achievement into an opportunity to generate a positive and lasting impact on society.
This purpose is reflected in each of our actions, guided by the commitment to value the development of people as the essential engine of progress.
For this reason, we encourage initiatives that promote equity, training and well-being, convinced that true development is that which is shared and that is also manifested in the work of our Foundation, through the promotion of culture, opening spaces for dialogue and creativity”.
Environmental information Y2025 vs. Y2024
In 2025, 99.6% of the Group’s total GHG emissions fall under Scope 3, while Scope 2 accounts for 0.3% and Scope 1 for 0.1%. This breakdown reflects that the main focus of action for reducing emissions lies in the value chain, without prejudice to energy efficiency measures and the transition to renewable energy in our own operations.
TWG has quantified the corresponding greenhouse gas emissions since 2022, covering Scopes 1 and 2, in accordance with the GHG Protocol standard. This benchmark standard has been applied using the operational control approach. In addition, we have reported these emissions to the Carbon Footprint Registry of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITERD) for Spain during the periods mentioned. The year 2024 was the first year of measurement for Scope III.
As a result of strengthening our processes for measuring and consolidating emissions data carried out in 2024—including the expansion to the value chain and the centralization of information and evidence—in 2025 we were able to develop and implement our Decarbonization Plan. This Plan is structured around our participation in the Lean & Green initiative.
Social Information Y2025 vs. Y2024
In line with our objective to generate a positive impact, we have defined a roadmap oriented toward responsible people management, which is structured around the following lines of action:
- Commit to implementing a new HR and occupational health and safety management program at the group level.
- Develop and implement the OES (Operational Excellence System) model in Logistics.
- Local talent recruitment: Driving local employment to leverage the knowledge and capabilities of our surroundings, contributing to the economic and social development of the communities where we operate.
- Mapping of local laws and regulations: Identifying and monitoring the applicable legal and regulatory frameworks in each country to ensure compliance and mitigate associated risks, in coordination with the legal department.
- Promoting a diverse and inclusive culture: Developing and applying policies and procedures that ensure people’s health, well-being, and professional development, while fostering continuous training across all levels and areas of the organization.
Information Governance Y2025 vs. Y2024
During 2025, the Board strengthened its capabilities through specific training on cybersecurity and criminal-law risks, improving oversight of emerging risks.
- For its part, the Regulatory Compliance Committee (RCC) acts as the body driving a culture of integrity throughout the Group. Its main responsibilities include:Drafting and updating corporate policies.
- Promoting procedures for their proper implementation.
- Overseeing compliance with the Code of Ethics.
- Managing the ethics communication channel, including the receipt and assessment of reports.
